FAQ
Your impact window questions, answered
Still wondering about something? Call David's team for straight answers, no sales pressure.
Call (954) 884-8224What are impact windows?
Impact windows are hurricane-rated windows built with laminated glass bonded to a tough inner layer and set in a reinforced frame. They stay intact when struck by flying debris and hold up to hurricane-force pressure, so your home is protected around the clock with no shutters to put up. Every unit we install carries a Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval.
How much do impact windows cost?
Most installed impact windows fall in a typical range per opening depending on size, glass type, and access. A single-panel impact door commonly runs about $2,500 to $4,000. We give honest, itemized pricing at your free estimate, with no mystery markups.
Will impact windows lower my insurance?
Usually, yes. Florida insurers offer wind-mitigation credits for code-approved impact products. We provide the NOA documentation and inspection paperwork your insurer needs to apply the discount.
Do they meet hurricane building codes?
Every product we install carries a Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval. That meets the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone code in Broward and Miami-Dade, and the wind-borne-debris requirements in Palm Beach County (Boca Raton and West Palm Beach), all tested against flying debris and pressure cycling.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in one to three days depending on the number of openings. We protect your floors and furniture and clean up completely before we leave.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes, end to end. We pull the permit, coordinate the county inspection, and give you the signed-off documentation. You do not chase paperwork.
